The Conservation and Restoration is basically made of three steps:
1. The preventive conservation to slow down deterioration and keep future damage to minimum.
2. The curative conservation introduces corrective measures after damage has been done.
3. The restoration process involves the repair of the artwork, in order to improve its readability, while respecting its history and massage.
